Summer tyres are designed to provide you with excellent performance when temperatures are above 7°c as a rule of thumb, but not at temperatures lower than that. By comparison, All-Season tyres are a hybrid category engineered with an intermediate rubber compound and a versatile tread pattern to provide a balanced compromise of safety and performance on dry, wet, and lightly snow-covered roads across a broad temperature range typically between -10°C and 30°C.. Irish drivers primarily use summer tyres year-round due to the country's temperate climate, which rarely experiences the sustained freezing temperatures or heavy snowfall that necessitate specialized winter tyres.

BMW OE ( or Star Symbol):* Tyres marked with a star symbol are approved for BMW (and Mini) vehicles. They have undergone extensive testing to ensure optimal performance, comfort, and safety specifically for the BMW chassis.
NSN: This marking indicates Nissan Original Equipment fitment [Search]. These tyres are custom-tuned to match the weight, steering, and noise specifications preferred by Nissan for certain factory-fitted models.
AO (Audi Original): These tyres are specifically engineered for Audi vehicles. The "AO" (or sometimes RO1 for Quattro/RS models) ensures the tyre meets Audi's strict standards for ride comfort, road noise, and high-speed stability. 
While these OE tyres can often be fitted to other vehicle makes if the size is correct, manufacturers recommend using the specific OE version if your vehicle was originally equipped with them to maintain its factory-intended driving characteristics.
